Hard Working Hubby

So I know it looks, and sounds, like I don't have a husband during the summers...but in fact I do!  And we actually manage to have a lot of fun together despite his bizarre work hours (which in his case, range from 9am to 3am at times).  Memorial Day is one of the two days in the summer that the guys stop knocking early, so needless to say it's very exciting!  We went to dinner and saw the new Indiana Jones.  I was snapping pictures of Ty while he was talking with his guys, everyone thought I was weird, but I thought he looked really cute :).  The picture at the top is outside of the movie theatre, there was the prettiest sunset that night!!  Fabulous picture, thanks to Chase...

This is how I'm used to seeing Tyler...surrounded by a bunch of boys wearing Apx Alarm shirts!

Food and Water

So this past week Natalie was in town with Eric, who is the regional manager for Ty's office.  It was really fun having her here, even though it was for such a short time.  I feel like I did more in the two days she was here than I have so far this summer, so that was really fun...and convenient because now I have pictures to update my blog with!  So on Friday Nat took all of us Pittsburgh wives out to lunch...(sorry Rach, I tried to work for you!!).  It was tons of fun, and I got some really cute pictures of the babies.

Adalie and Haylee at lunch...I'm obviously quite the terrifying specimen when holding a camera, judging by the terrified look on both of their cute faces.
Karen and Haylee...one of the prettiest Mother-Daughter combos I've ever seen!
All of us wives after lunch.  L-R: Karen, Jessica, me, Natalie, Shannon, Carrie, and Lydia with Adalie.  Oddly enough, the two wives with brunette hair in our office didn't make it to the lunch, leaving us a very blonde bunch of girls...minus myself, but I don't really fit in anywhere as far as that goes right now.  Thanks again Nat! Lunch was tons of fun!

Later this night, Karen, Natalie, and I took Haylee swimming up at the hotel Nat was staying at.  Haylee had just gotten a new swimsuit, and this was her first time trying it out!  It was so cute because as soon as she was in her swimsuit she was really excited, like she could tell something special was going on.  Here are some fun pics of us (or Haylee, Karen, and Nat) swimming...
This is right when Karen first got Haylee in the water, at first she wasn't exactly sure how she felt about it, but she ended up LOVING it!!  Natalie and Karen were actually ready to get out of the pool before Haylee, she's a little water baby!
This one turned out a little dark, and I wish you could see that Haylee's little legs were kicking the whole time she was in the water!
I didn't actually get in the pool, so I really wanted a picture with her after.  I've been trying to convince everyone that Haylee's little frown is a result of being sad she had to get out of the pool; not because I'm cuddling her tightly.
To further my point, I tricked Haylee into smiling with me :)  Isn't she the cutest little baby!  My favorite thing about Haylee is she's pretty selective with her smiles, so I'm always pretty proud when I receive one...
Here are the three little swimmers...Haylee with the mom and the mom-to-be.  I can't wait to go swimming again soon!

Haunted PA

So we found out just recently that Canonsburg is haunted...or may as well be.  There's an old abandoned prep school turned mental hospital right by our apartments that is all boarded up.  Thanks to some of the wives killer researching skills, we found out that there is a childrens cemetary on the property where 35 kids who died while living in the hospital are buried.  As though that's not creepy enough, the main building is where the cell scene from Silence of the Lambs was filmed, (I've never seen it or else I would give more description, but now I'm insanely interested in it)...So some of the crazier girls out here (Rachel Rad...) have gone there at night and ended up completely terrified, or her husband did at least; but we decided to go there during the day and take some pictures.  It was really cool, and lucky for me it wasn't scary at all.  The buildings are really amazing and beautiful, not to mention run down and asbestos filled...(kind of creepy, we actually found an asbestos report right outside the front building).  Anyways, here are some pictures from the adventure, the one above with Katie, myself, and Nat is in front of the building where Silence of the Lambs was filmed.

As soon as we got there Rachel and Kaitlyn decided to climb down some cellar that led to a door, that you can't see because the pictures too dark.  At this point we were all jittery and I couldn't believe they were going down there, but they came out unscathed...
From left: Kaitlyn, Rachel, and Vanessa; climbed up a dark staircase to get this balcony shot, while Katie, Natalie, and I waited patiently downstairs in the light...
All of us except for Natalie in front of one of the main buildings.  From left: Katie, Rachel, Kaitlyn, me, and Vanessa.  You'll notice the white Asbestos report Katie, (our resident medical expert) was reading the whole time we walked around the grounds! :)
This kind of gives an idea of how old and ornate most of the stuff in the buildings was.  You can see the beautiful ceiling that was now exposed since the ceiling has fallen off...
We had tons of fun, I actually already want to go again!  Maybe at night this time...

Grub Club

So Pennsylvania is fabulous.  The girls out here are great, and I get to have 40 guys in and out of my apartment daily...which has made Misfit realize he's sick of being with just me all day, and all he wants to do is play with Ty and his sales reps.  So Jessica had the great idea to start a dinner club, where we have dinners at a different girls house every night.  It has been really fun, although I'm afraid Tyler is suffering the consequences because I'm full and happy by the time he gets home starving and wondering where his dinner is.  But it has been a really fun way to spend more time together, (as wives...husband-less).  So here are a few pictures from the other night when Rach had dinner at her house, fabulous Hawaiin Haystacks if anyone is wondering.

It totally looks like no one lives in this apartment, due to the lack of decor.  We get pretty used to stark white walls over the summer.  Wait, except for in my apartment where I have pictures of random reps heads on movie stars bodies...

This is little Jack Jones Gillespie, the sweetest little boy ever.  He had his cute little hand on Shannon's elbow and it was precious.  It is definitely fun being surrounded by so many cute babies! (Hear that Jack, Haylee, and Adalie?!)
And I feel compelled to add that it is 1:00 in the morning and Tyler is chatting on the internet with Derald and I'm posting a new blog.  We're having an exceptionally good time...

New, Old, Pennsylvania, Bold...

ODE TO ZIPPY...

So the Volkswagon had its last hurrah driving across the country with Ty.  It'd had been giving us problems for a few months, and finally gave up once Ty got to Pennsylvania.  I was really sad because I hadn't been prepared for him to get rid of it, and I love love loved that car!
So I had finally resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going to have a car over the summer, and that Ty was going to be driving a sick Cobalt rental all summer.  I arrived in Pittsburgh and Ty picked me up in Jordan's jeep because we were now car-less.  We pulled up to our cute apartments and when he opened the garage this was inside!!!
Needless to say I was really really really excited.  I had become obsessed with this car recently, and by the way he was talking he made it sound like it wouldn't be a good idea...but wahoo he tricked me!  As you can tell by how ecstatic I look, I was really really excited, and really really surprised!
I like this picture just because it got my cute new car and my cute little puppy!  So other than my cute car I've just been working in the office everyday since we've been here.  I love working in the office, but it has become more and more stressful as the guys start selling more and more accounts!  Hopefully I'll have some fun pictures from Pittsburgh to put up soon!
And me and Misfit got new hair-do's before we headed out here, so here's our glamour shots!
