Vegas/Christmas/Cuddliness

Las Vegas Bowl 2008...

Ty and I found ourselves in Las Vegas (for Ty's 5th time in 3 months) for the Las Vegas Bowl...  We met up with some other friends down there for the game and had a little dinner get together...There we are with Scott and Chelsey Bell.

Ty and I stayed at the Wynn Hotel for a night while we were there...it was probably our favorite hotel I've ever stayed at in Vegas...

In case you can't tell from this poor picture, those are the girls next door behind the bald guy. They were signing autographs outside the Playboy store at the Forum Shops, and security was making sure that absolutely no one got any closer than this without waiting in an extremely long line!  L-R Kendra, Bridgette, and Holly...yes I know...

Yes BYU lost, Yes we left the game early, and Yes I was able to wear some awesome BYU garb...

We had a little Christmas get together at my parents house after we got back from Vegas...too bad Grandma isn't looking in this picture...

Kenzy came over with this little blanket dress on, and wouldn't take it off!  She was running around with her little arms pinned by her side in the blanket, it was so cute!

Merry Christmas!!
Now for our Christmas activities, we went up to Boise this year, and were able to spend a lot of time relaxing and cuddling with the littlest Williams that was there...

Chloe Burke!!  She was such a little cutie for her first Christmas, and her first trip to Boise! (Hay sorry I didn't get more of you in the picture...)

Cuddly Uncle Ty...

Merry Christmas Chloe...

Ty gazed and oogled at me most of the break...haha just kidding...

Chloe cuddling again, this time in front of the Christmas tree

Christmas Chloe

Our newest little niece stopped by last night to see us...and her and her mom had on the cutest matching shirts.  Alli said she knew it was geeky, but I totally disagree!!  When, if ever, Ty and I have a little something we can dress up I am going to make all three of us wear matching outfits!  And those of you who knew Ty and I when we were dating know this is not beyond us!  Anyways, it was so fun to see Landon, Alli, and little Chloe, and here are some cute pics...

Chloe was not ready to wake up yet...

Still trying to wake up, but glad she has a shirt on that match's Moms...

Ready to go back to sleep after a nice little meal...

All packed up and ready to go...I can not believe how cute her little hands are!  They're holding on sooo tight to her blankie!  Thanks for visiting Chloe!

We Wish you a Merry Misfit.  I couldn't resist posting these...We finally got our tree put up, and that event happened to coincide with my getting Misfit a little Elf collar complete with jingle bells, so we snapped some pictures...

He took the whole event soooo seriously! Usually he's jumping off walls and sniffing everything in sight, but he was completely somber, and held completely still for his pictures!

Maybe we'll pursue a career in puppy modeling...
Okay last one...Merry Christmas!!!!

Thanksgiving Break

Ty and I spent Thanksgiving this year up at my parents house in Farmington.  The food, family, and festivities were all great; and probably the most exciting part about the break this year was that my older brother Marc got married the day after Thanksgiving.  We were all so excited for his wedding that we forgot to take any actual "Thanksgiving" pictures, but we all looked better at the wedding anyways :)

Marc right before the wedding...

My mom and me before the wedding

The boys at the weedding (minus the groom).  L-R Dad, Brett, Scott, Ty, Lance with Jack, and Aidan

The girls at the wedding (minus the bride).  L-R Me, Mom, Emmy, Sydney, Makenzy, and Jill

Ashley and Marc.  I love this picture of them...

The Bride, Groom, and their Bridesmaid...Sydney :)

The actual ceremony, which was really neat.  Yes that's my brother Brett marrying them :)

Syd and Ashley's special part of the ceremony

I had a few more random pictures that were really cute, so here's a little Christmasy, Wedding slideshow if you're interested :)

The whole wedding was so nice and fun, and I'm so happy for Marc and his new wife!  Love you guys!

My blog is now the Christmas-iest thing about me.

So I just thought I would let everyone know that Ty and I are looking into selling our townhome.  So if there's anyone out there in the blogosphere who is looking for a place, or knows of anyone looking for a place, our house is the place for you!! How could I add another "place" to that sentence?  It's really cute, and in great shape...I'll post a couple pics soon...

!!!Sint Maarten!!!

Ty and I got to go to Sint Maarten (also known as St Martin, depending which side of the island you're on:) last week, and it was absolutely amazing.  I haven't wanted to post about it since we got back because I've been trying to pretend we're still there!  We got some really fun pictures though, so enjoy!  And big thanks to Kevin and Rach for letting us take over their apartment and their lives for a week!

This is the view off the balcony of Kevin and Rach's apartment, you can't really tell in this picture but the ocean is between Ty's head and mine :)

We hadn't thought to bring clothes for church, so luckily I had something to wear, but Ty borrowed some from Kevin.  It was sooooo cute...for those of you who don't know Kevin, he is the most one of a kind dresser you will ever meet, so it was really cute to see Ty in his clothes :)

This is the first beach we went to, called Mullet Bay (cool).  Rach and I soaked up the rays while Ty and Kevin tried out skim boarding...

We waited around for the sunset, as it's famous on the island for being beautiful...

It lived up to the hype!

We went to a fun burger joint for dinner.  I wish I had more pictures of the fun events, namely the waiter squirting whipped cream directly into my mouth, and the men in drag performing Bob Marley songs for us while we ate.  Quite the experience!

We spent the next day on the French side (Kevin and Rach live on the Dutch side).  We rode a little boat out to this cool little island, Pinel.  It was the prettiest beach I've ever seen.  In the picture on the beach, the mountains behind us are Sint Maarten, and then the next one is Pinel behind us when we're leaving.  We wished we could have spent more time there, especially since we all ended up taking naps on the beach most the time we were there.  Ty was able to buy a $31 hamburger for lunch though, so that was good...

Kevin and Ty checking out some cool shopping...Ty and me in the middle of a cool little square

A nice photo op.  In the good old days I would put this picture in a frame.  I don't know when the last time I printed off a picture was...

We didn't know this before going, but the French side of St Martin is famous for its great food!  The restaurant we're at in this picture was featured on the food network recently, and the area we were eating at, Grand Case, is the "Culinary Capital of the Caribbean".  The food was delicious!!!!

We happened to be there over "Sint Maarten's Day", which on the island requires that everyone closes their store.  This worked out perfect cause Rach and Kevin didn't have to work that day.  Its great that they know all the locals, they got us a great deal on an awesome excursion that took us to a couple islands to snorkel.  We went to Anguilla, Prickly Pear, and a little one called Sandy Island.  Anguilla had the most beautiful beach and water I'd ever seen, and we did the greatest snorkling at all three islands.  It was awesome, I was a little scared of all the jelly fish, and we saw a barracuda off Anguilla.  Creepy!

Another photo op...I still can't believe how white the beach was and how blue the water was!!!

The last day Kevin and Rach had to go back to work, so we hung out and played at the beach...

Kevin has gotten into spear fishing over there, so the last night Ty went with him, and Kevin caught a Red-tailed Snapper!  Apparently they're really good to eat :)  I was going to go, but their other friend that they went with had seen a shark there a couple days before...so needless to say I opted out...I was proud of Ty for going though!

Another fabulous meal the night before we left...I wish we could have stayed longer!

I had to include this cool picture at the Jump Up casino, because we spent most of our nights there playing Bingo :)  Unfortunately neither Ty or I won big, but Kevin did win $50 one night...Thanks again Radebaugh's, we had a blast!!!!!
