A Monstrous Birthday Party!

We threw a little Monster Birthday party for our very own Rocco-Monster this weekend...and we had a blast! I've gotta say thank you so much to everyone who came, and for all of the awesome stuff Rocco got! We had such a great time and loved celebrating with our loved ones!!

I loved this monster baby shower a friend of mine did, and decided to use it for Rocco's party (thanks Jess for all the ideas, and Lis for suggesting it!)

Oh and I better warn about the amount of pictures that are to follow. They were all so stinking cute though...and he'll only turn 1 once, right? Right?? Consider yourselves warned...

This pretty much sums up the present opening experience...except with more of me opening them, while Rocco did other things and ignored the gifts :) I could put a whole bunch of pictures of me posing with a big smile on my face with Rocco's cool gifts...but instead I'll say he got awesome stuff and thank you EVERYONE!!!!!

Oh and most of present opening time was spent fishing scraps of tissue paper and wrapping paper out of the back of his mouth...

Thank you soooo much to everyone who came, we had such a great time seeing everyone and celebrating with everyone. We love our little Rocco-Monster!!!

Rocco-Monster is 1!

This is Rocco's picture face...so prepare yourself to see a lot of it. And know that while it's a stone cold, expression-less seeming face--he's actually having a lot of fun :)


Rocco turned 1 last Thursday...and we had lots of fun celebrating it with him. Ty got really sick the day before Rocco's bday, which sucked, but he didn't go to work so we loved getting to have him around all day!

We got him this music table...he was so interested in it he woudn't pay attention to any other presents

Until he realized he could eat the wrapping...

We love this little guy so much. We're so blessed to have him.

Second he realized it was so funny to feed cake to Misfit. That's where his cake sampling pretty much ended...

But not before his high chair took a beating! (This is an exception to my strict 'no pictures of Rocco with food all over his face' rule--for the sake of his birthday) :)

We can't wait for all the fun we'll have with this little guy as a 1 year old!
