This past week Ty and I and some friends went down to St. George, where the weather was warm and the world was beautiful and green. I was going to add that the people were friendly, to really complete the idyllic picture, but...they weren't, not at all actually. So we'll leave it at warm and green. We left on Wednesday at 10ish, and came back Thursday night. It was a really quick trip, but it was absolutely worth it to be in warm weather for at least a few hours. The boys rode their mountain bikes a ton, and we all golfed on Thursday. It was really fun...to prove it, here are some pictures :)
The first pic is before the first mountain bike ride of the trip. Eric-Derald-Ty-Matt-Jessica. Me and Nat opted for shopping during this ride...Once again, see how happy Ty is in the sun! I think we'll be moving to St. George or Bloomington soon. Especially because we found our dream home in Bloomington, and became best friends with its owners...
Matt, Ty, and Derald showing off their golf poses. Eric would have been there had we not been forced by the golf cop to split our group because we were holding up the golfers behind us. Lame...the golf cop, not the poses. The poses are sweeet.
First of all, killer golf swing Jess (in the back left of the first picture). Jess was a really good golfer, and had the cutest golf bag I'd ever seen. Now that that's out of the way, killer baseball form Ty! This was the first time I'd ever been with Ty, but he'd always told me he was an awful golfer, which isn't true! He did really good, his only problem is he gets insanely bored, hence the baseball pose...
I got to drive the cart. My favorite part of golfing. Be sure to check back in next August, because since we're living on a golf course this summer, I'm planning to become a stellar golfer. I would add more pictures, but like I said, insanely short trip...hopefully we'll go again soon!
